Hi,I’m John.
Thanks for visiting my blog specialized in my ramblings about the world of coffee.
Some people have strange hobbies and I guess mine is drinking coffee. I’m no expert or anything, I just love to try out different types from around the world whether it be pure Arabica from Columbia or a blend from a hill tribe in Northern Thailand.
I live with my gorgeous wife, who I love a whole lot – especially her attempts at cooking, sorry, her magnificent skill at cooking.
I try to enjoy a healthy life-style and I’m uncomplicated guy that likes to unwind with a good coffee (I also love good red wine, but then who doesn’t) I like to get out and about, especially away from the city to get some fresh air, peace and quiet.
I’ve a black belt in the Japanese art of Aikido which for those who don’t know, is a bit like Judo – but a bit more fitting to my character.
I love trying to grow plants but don’t have a green thumb. My results are not totally successful to say the least. I’d love to grow some coffee! My greatest interest is traveling and I’d really like to visit some coffee plantations high up in the mountains and riding up to them on a mountain bike.
